This is one of the bastions (baluartes) that form Cartagena’s city walls and is an easy historical stop during a wall walk. You can observe the surrounding fortification structures as you go, and it also works well for photos. Because there are many steps and uneven levels, wear comfortable walking shoes and prepare for the heat.
