San Lucas Bastion

Bolívar

This is a bastion (baluarte) that formed part of the old town’s defensive line. It fits naturally into a wall-walk route and allows you to observe the surrounding streetscape and fortress structures. As sun exposure is often strong, bring water and use heat protection such as a hat.
