This is a bastion (baluarte) that forms part of Cartagena’s walls, where you can enjoy both history and views during a wall walk. While it is easy to stop by briefly, walking it together with nearby bastions can deepen your understanding. Watch for steps underfoot and keep an eye on your valuables in crowded areas.
