Rastoke is famous for its network of waterfalls and channels around Slunj, where watermills and village scenery combine into a highly photogenic landscape. It is excellent for walking and photography, and the light in early morning or late afternoon is often especially attractive. Expect wet wooden paths and slippery surfaces near the water; wear grippy shoes and move carefully, particularly after rain.
