Menkaure Valley Temple is the valley-side component of Menkaure’s pyramid complex, conceptually marking the entry point of the funerary route from the Nile-side approach toward the pyramid. Visiting with the “processional flow” in mind—valley temple to causeway to mortuary temple—helps tie the complex together as a coherent whole.
