Mentuhotep II Temple

The Temple of Mentuhotep II is a mortuary-temple remain of major importance from the Middle Kingdom, and it is best appreciated together with the Deir el-Bahari temples to understand architectural and historical continuity. Because parts of the remains can be difficult to read on their own, combining the visit with on-site explanations or a guide greatly improves interpretation.
