Colored Canyon is a well-known natural site famous for its layered sandstone patterns and vivid colors, making it excellent for photography. Many routes reach the main highlights with a relatively short trek, but some sections have unstable footing—wear proper shoes and avoid visiting in weather that could bring flash-flood risk.
