An archaeological point associated with “Chalkourgeia” (Χαλκουργεία), the bronze/metal-working workshops of ancient Athens. It is an interesting trace of urban craft production that complements the “everyday life” side of the ancient city. Remains are often low and fragmentary, so a short visit with attention to any signage is usually sufficient.
