Cape Tainaron is a dramatic headland in Laconia, known as one of the southernmost points of mainland Greece, with a rewarding trail to the lighthouse and excellent sea-and-rock scenery. Shade is limited and winds can be strong, so bring water, a hat, and good shoes, and avoid starting late in the day.
