This is the entry point to Agia Irini Gorge, a trekking route often considered quieter and more manageable than Samaria while still offering forest and rock-wall scenery. Even so, some sections can be slippery, and weather/season affects comfort. Bring water, wear solid hiking shoes, and pace yourself so you finish well before dusk.
