Shalimar Bagh is a historic Mughal garden overlooking Dal Lake in Srinagar, commissioned by Emperor Jahangir for his wife Nur Jahan in the early 17th century. Its terraced layout, flowing water channels, fountains, pavilions, and mature chinar trees create one of Kashmir’s finest examples of Mughal landscape design.
