North Jeolla

This is the remains of a large Buddhist temple believed to have been built during the Baekje period, and is one of the largest in East Asia. Stone pagodas and building remains have been preserved, making it an important historical site where visitors can learn about the advanced techniques and history of ancient Korean Buddhist architecture.
