Wat Phra Si Iriyabot

Wat Phra Si Iriyabod is an ancient temple located within Kamphaeng Phet Historical Park, and is characterized by the arrangement of Buddha statues that represent the four postures of Buddha (the four postures): standing, sitting, lying down, and walking. The tranquil ruins blend together the religious ideology and architectural foundations from the Sukhothai to Ayutthaya periods, the reddish-brown texture of the laterite stone, and the remains of old corridors, creating a popular photo spot with strong shadows created by the morning and evening light. It's also a great place to complement the culture and topography of a tour of the large-scale ruins.
