Richelieu Rock is a world-famous diving spot in the Andaman Sea, characterized by underwater reefs covered in purple soft corals. It is famous for its high chance of encountering whale sharks, and is a treasure trove of marine life, including schools of barracudas, trevally, colorful sea slugs, and seahorses. It is also popular with advanced divers, and the best season is from February to April, when the water is particularly clear.
