Op Luang National Park

Located between Chiang Mai and Hot District in northern Thailand, Opluang National Park features a dynamic landscape created by the Mae Jam River's carving of a limestone gorge. Cliffs on both sides stand several dozen meters high, creating a beautiful contrast between the emerald color of the river flowing through the narrow valley and the orange-gray layers of the rock surface. The park also contains an archaeological site where ancient murals and stone tools have been discovered, allowing visitors to experience both nature and history. Overlooking the gorge from the suspension bridge is thrilling and a popular photo spot. The water is clear during the dry season, and the water volume increases during the rainy season, making it even more impressive. While trekking routes and observation decks are available, caution is advised after rain as the rocks can be slippery. This is a famous spot where you can experience the majestic nature of the north on a raw scale.
