Wat Tham Phu Wa

This temple is located in a rocky cave in Kanchanaburi. The Buddha statue enshrined in the limestone cavern blends with natural formations, and the inside of the cave is enveloped in cool air and silence. The scent of incense, the damp smell of the rock walls, and the presence of the prayers of monks and worshippers all combine to create an experience that unites Thai Buddhism and nature worship with all five senses.
