Charaideo Moidam is one of the royal burial mounds associated with the Ahom dynasty, which ruled Assam for nearly six centuries. Its grass-covered mound contains an underground funerary chamber and reflects the distinctive burial beliefs, architecture, and royal traditions of the Tai-Ahom people.
