Charaideo Moidams are the royal burial mounds of the Ahom dynasty, which ruled much of Assam for nearly six centuries. The grass-covered mounds contain underground funerary chambers built for kings, queens, and nobles, combining monumental earthworks with distinctive Tai-Ahom beliefs and burial traditions.
