Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of the oldest, busiest, and most sacred riverfront steps in Varanasi. Located beside the Ganges, it is especially famous for the evening Ganga Aarti, when priests perform an elaborate ceremony with lamps, incense, chants, and music before large crowds of worshippers and visitors.
