Dashashwamedh Ghat is one of the oldest, busiest, and most sacred riverfront ghats in Varanasi. It is especially famous for the evening Ganga Aarti, when priests perform an elaborate ceremony with lamps, incense, chanting, and music beside the Ganges before large crowds of worshippers and visitors.
