Delhi
Humayun's Tomb Complex in Delhi was commissioned in the 16th century by Empress Bega Begum for the Mughal emperor Humayun. Its grand garden-tomb design, red sandstone architecture, and white-marble details strongly influenced later Mughal monuments, including the Taj Mahal, and the complex is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
