Diwan-i-Khas is a distinctive audience hall within the royal complex of Fatehpur Sikri, built during the reign of Mughal emperor Akbar. Its square exterior encloses a remarkable central stone pillar with an elaborately carved capital, from which narrow bridges extend toward the corners of the upper gallery.
