Pancha Rathas

Pancha Rathas is a group of five monolithic monuments carved from individual granite outcrops in Mahabalipuram during the Pallava period in the 7th century. Each structure has a different architectural form and is traditionally named after figures from the Mahabharata, offering an exceptional demonstration of early South Indian temple design.
